New lease on life for my bed

Today I am staying away from uni because I am feeling kinda sick, so after having breakfast and hanging out my laundry I went to lie down on my bed and heard a crack; looking around I saw that the base of my bed had a huge crack down the middle of it (which is no good when I want to spend the day in bed) so I headed down to the timber shop and got a sheet of MDF made to fit the bed, so my bed (which I have had for 18 or so years) should be good for the next 18 or so years.
