Speeding: Don't do it.

A few weeks ago was driving along Great North Rd and got pulled over by a police officer for driving 18km/h over the speed limit. Now I don't speed deliberately, I was just not concentrating on what speed limit zone I was in, which is probably as bad as speeding deliberately because it means I probably wasn't paying enough attention to what was on the side of the road too (eg small children, joggers about to cross the road, etc). Anyhow I went and paid the $120 fine today, and I can say that has to be the worst way I have ever spent money in my life. Needless to say I am paying far more attention to the world around me when I drive!
